CTU has won the Microsoft Gold Learning Partner of the Year Award for 2012. By winning this award CTU now feels that Microsoft recognises it as a strategic partner that has made an acknowledgeable contribution in the ICT learning field.
“CTU competed with two other learning partners at the Microsoft awards, and this has helped us mature as a company and we would like to continue this growth even further”, says Mr. Ronald Meeske, CEO of CTU Training Solutions. “However, there are many challenges in the country, such as high unemployment and the level of ICT in schools, which CTU would like to penetrate”, he continued.
The CTU Career Campus (a division of CTU Training Solutions (PTY) Ltd) offers a variety fulltime and part time IT, business and design programmes with national qualifications and international certifications, which develop skills and prepares the graduates for a future filled with exciting opportunities at its 13 campuses countrywide.
In line with industry requirements, CTU Training Solutions (PTY) Ltd is fully accredited by the MICT SETA and registered with the Department of Education as a Private Further Education and Training (FET) College.
The facilitator-led programmes CTU offers at its campuses are developed and updated regularly according to new technological developments and market trends. Its classes are small to ensure that each individual will get a great deal of attention.
With regard to campus activities, CTU developed a "Student Life @CTU" programme managed by its staff and the campus SRC with some activities taking place on a national level. Its "Workplace experience programme" enables learners to become familiar with the corporate/working environment through various field trips and internship programmes hosted by participating corporate clients.
CTU is going from good to great. It will launch a cloud campus in March 2013. This campus’ aim is to deliver programmes to all its campuses from a centralised location and it will run on Microsoft Lync. Another aim is to drive other Microsoft technologies and to prepare its career students in the use of these technologies.
CTU will be the first to present the latest MCSA, MCSE (Technical / Networking) and MCSD (Application development) certifications.
