First-semester exams have officially begun at the University of South Africa (Unisa). The exams are held online and the university has emphasized the need for participating students to be properly prepared.

This starts with accessing your timetable and thoroughly reading the exam rules

This is particularly important because failing to abide by the specified exam rules can result in disqualification without the possibility of writing a supplementary exam. Exam question papers, both in comprehensive and multiple-choice can be found on Unisa’s myExams platform.

Students are also advised to ensure that they test their access prior to sitting for the exam by clicking on their module code on the day of their exam. Those who are experiencing password problems are advised to reset it on myUnisa

Additionally, It's equally important to select the right proctoring tool for your exam by clicking the link for the proctoring tool and entering your module code. It is also crucial to have access to a dependable desktop, laptop, or mobile device with a strong internet connection and camera.

The Unisa myModules app should not be used by students; they should instead use their mobile browsers. Students are also advised to download and sign up for the Invigilator App three days before their exams.

The university has also urged students to ensure that their exam preparations are in line with planned load-shedding schedules.

Students who are having technical problems should either call the SCSC at 080 000 1870, send an email to [email protected], or look up more contact information in the Get-Help section of their myLife account.
