Design Internship with SUN MeDIA

SUN MeDIA Bloemfontein is offering a Design Internship. The programme will run for 6 months and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable publishing industry experience.

Requirements:

• A Diploma in Design (or similar qualification);
• Accuracy and thoroughness;
• The ability to work under pressure;
• Organisational skills;
• Commitment;
• Communication skills (Afrikaans and English);
• Computer skills (especially in Adobe CS); and
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

The candidate will be involved in the following design processes:

• Concepts on journals, manuscripts and other printed and electronic projects;
• Scheduling;
• Layout and design; and
• Production.

Location:

The successful candidate will work at SUN MeDIA Bloemfontein for 6 months.

Reports to:

Manager & Publisher, SUN MeDIA Bloemfontein.
