University of Mpumalanga (UMP) students are now able to complete their registration as registration for the 2024 academic year has commenced for both new and returning students.

UMP Registration Dates

Students must register on the following dates:

  • First-year students: 5-9 February 2023
  • Returning students:
    • Online registration from 2 January - 16 February 2024.
    • In-person registration (Campus) from 12 - 16 February 2024.
  • Postgraduate Students: 2 January – 16 February
  • Masters and Doctoral students: 2 January - 30 April 2024

Returning students must ensure that they are financially cleared and do not have any outstanding modules before attempting to register.

Registration will take place solely online, using your own cell-phone, tablet or computer. No walk-ins on campus are permitted. Students can register online using this link by signing in using their student number and user pin.

Registration will be on a 'first-come-first-served' basis. Once all the spaces have been filled for a qualification, registration will be closed for that particular course.

Therefore, acceptance into a programme does not guarantee enrolment, so make sure that you complete your registration as soon as possible.

Remember to have all your necessary documents, such as a certified copy of your ID and your matric certificate, on-hand when completing your online registration.

First year Students Orientation will take place from 12 February until 16 February. Lectures will then commence on 19 February 2024.
