The University of KwaZulu-Natal, also known as UKZN, is a university with five campuses in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. It was formed on 1 January 2004 after the merger between the University of Natal and the University of Durban-Westville.

How To Apply

Applications to study at UKZN are done through the Central Applications Office (CAO). CAO applications are done in three ways:

CAO application fees work a bit different. This means that you pay R250 for South Africans citizens and R300 for international applicants and this will cover all the applications done for all Universities in the province, using CAO.

Click on My Application
Fill in details and follow the prompts
You should be able to view your status then

Applications close on 30 September.

UKZN courses are offered in Agriculture, Engineering and Science, Health Sciences, Humanities and Law and Management Sciences.

Academy Training Group (ATG) is registered with Department of Higher Education (DHET) with registration nr 2010/FE07/045.

Their objective is to provide practical training and knowledge for a professional level of competency.

Full-time lecturers at Academy Training Group limited are well qualified and hold relevant qualifications.

Part-time lecturers assist Academy Training Group as required for ATG training.
