iHub Africa offers free, world class, industry tailored Digital Marketing & Soft Skills Programme. This programme is specifically designed for students from underserved areas.

iHubbers are youth aged 18-30 who are, humble, hungry and smart, with a go-getter, solutions oriented mindset, and eager to grow holistically while gaining digital marketing skills to participate in a global economy.

The programme starts at the end of January and runs until the end of November. Students are required to attend the programme on-site Monday to Friday, 09h00 to 15h00.

Requirements To Join

  • Youth aged, 20 - 30 in 2024
  • Based in Johannesburg.
  • Must be able to get to the Hub, Monday - Friday.
  • Must not be working or studying between the Hub hours, 08:30 - 15:30.
  • No matric required (Other Qualifications, Skills and Training are considered)
  • Hardworking, humble, curious with grit and tenacity.
  • Able to commit for 1 year to attend in person, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 15:30.

What kind of jobs can I pursue after the programme?

The training we provide allows you to confidently apply for entry level jobs as a Digital Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, SEO, Website Development, Copy Writing, Email Marketing, Content Marketing etc.

The programme teaches a range of digital marketing skills accredited by internationally recognised institutions. You will acquire various badges as you progress through the training which are recognised within the digital marketing arena. This includes training in the Google Digital Skills, Hubspot, Facebook Blueprint, and more.

What are the requirements for completing the programme?

You will need to have excellent attendance, a program average of 70% or above and compliance with the iHub conduct policy.

Can I complete the course or study remotely?

The course requires all students to be attending classes in-person for each day of the week and is part of the acceptance criteria. Training happens daily at The Media Mill in Milpark, Johannesburg.

Can I work or study while doing the programme?

A requirement for the program is that you attend every Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm. If your work or study is outside these hours, and you are able to attend and keep up with the workload, then yes. If you cannot sustain excellent attendance and grades, you will not be able to continue in the program.

I have a small business. Can I still apply for the program?

You will be required to attend the program in person, Monday-Friday, 09h00 to 15h00 over the 10 months. If your business activities are outside these hours and will not affect your ability to be completely engaged and present, you are able to apply.

I have a degree or diploma. Can I still apply?

Yes you can, if you are not working or studying, and you are available to attend the program on-site full-time, for the full duration of the program.
