Educational Background: Applicants must hold a completed tertiary qualification, either a National Diploma or Degree, in the fields specified by the program. The range of fields includes but is not limited to Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, Town Planning, Architecture, Supply Chain Management, and Finance Management. This criterion ensures that candidates have a foundational knowledge and the necessary skills relevant to their internship role.
Age Requirement: The program is tailored for young graduates; hence, applicants must be between the ages of 18-35 years old. This age criterion aligns with the national goal to empower the youth and provide them with employment opportunities and professional exposure at the onset of their careers.
Internship History: Candidates who have not previously participated in any internship program are given priority. This is to ensure that those who have not had the opportunity for such exposure can benefit from the program. Additionally, applicants must not be currently pursuing any qualification, emphasizing the program’s focus on those who are ready to commit full-time to their professional development.
Commitment to the Program: The internship requires a substantial commitment, as successful applicants must be willing to engage in a 24-month Internship Programme contract.
