Ekurhuleni East FET College serves training and development needs in the Ekurhuleni East Metropolis on Gauteng’s East Rand, by promoting learnerships, skills programmes and community development.
In 2007 it served a population of over 13 000 students; sixty percent of whom were employed and economically active in the region.
The college also serves the biggest geographical area in Gauteng – enabling it to take advantage of developmental opportunities, particularly in the Clothing and Textile, Construction, Cultural Industries, Energy, Engineering, Hospitality, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing, services and tourism sectors and sub-sectors.
The college campuses are Benoni, Brakpan, Daveyton, Kwa-Thema and Springs.
