The Cape Town School of Photography offers both fulltime and part-time photographic courses. CTSP has a history of being a specialised school where lecturers are passionate and committed to their students.

The Cape Town School of Photography has ten years of experience teaching part-time courses and in 2011 expanded its program to include a full-time course.

The part-time courses include a wide variety of introductory and advanced photographic classes. Like the full-time course, classes are small for personalised training and emphasis is placed on individual participation and group interaction. Most of its part-time courses are between eight and ten weeks long and are offered as either morning or evening sessions. CTSP also offers short intensive courses, one-on-one personalised sessions and weekend workshops.

2013 Applications and Requirements

2013 Applications for the full-time course are open from mid-March 2012 and places are limited. Apply early to avoid disappointment!

Submit your application by submitting the 2013 application form with required documentation, a portfolio (see requirements on application form 2013) together with the proof of payment for the application fee to Jacqui: This email address is being protected from spambots. Once reviewed, CTSP will notify you as to whether you have been accepted onto the full-time programme for 2013. Should you be accepted, you would then need to register by submitting the registration form and supporting documentation (see requirements on registration form 2013):

About CTSP exhibitions

CTSP hosts quarterly student exhibitions, as well as guest exhibitions during the course of the year. Friends, lecturers, students and guest photographers are represented at CTSP's exhibitions, and from 2011, special full time student exhibitions will also be a feature of its gallery.
