Bursaries in digital design and electronic media are on offer for this year's Matric students looking for funding for 2011. SABC Education and the National Electronic Media Institute of South Africa (NEMISA) have bursaries valued at R1.5 million and the Friends of Design Academy of Digital Arts, based in Cape Town, has numerous bursaries for its one and two-year courses.
